The European Union Joint Research Commission programme is a voluntary Code of Conduct to raise awareness of the opportunities for energy and cost efficiency that can be realised within the data centre. The Code of Conduct has been created in response to increasing energy consumption in data centres and the need to reduce the related environmental, economic and energy supply demands. The aim is to inform and stimulate data centre operators and owners to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective manner without hampering the mission critical function of data centres.
The Code of Conduct aims to achieve this by improving understanding of energy demand within the data centre, raising awareness, and recommending energy efficient best practice and targets.
Endorsers are expected to utilise the Code of Conduct in order to develop products, solutions and programmes to enable data centre owners and operators to meet the expectations of the Code of Conduct.
As an Endorser Nubis Solutions actively disseminates the Code of Conduct recommendations and helps implement the Participant Guidelines and Best Practices to data centre owner / operators.
Nubis Solutions designs, manufactures and installs highly efficient and innovative Air Containment Solutions which enable an organisation to realise these energy and cost efficiencies and help them move towards Participant status.
